Hello! I am currently in the college application process, and have a total of 9 activities listed on my common app. In the last two weeks, I was a part of a team that presented a sexual assault reporting tool bill proposal to our state representative. Our proposal was successful and the representative has said they want to pick it up and add it to a larger sexual assault bill they are trying to get passed. This will likely happen during spring. Am I able to include this on my application? If so, how?
Thank you!
I had a similar situation with my application. What I did was add something short like "will be competing at hosa," "internship scheduled for March 2024," "currently planning project" ... etc.
Definitely focus on what you've already done but hopefully that helps give you some ideas of how you could include it.
I would just talk about what you did so far, and if you have space be like proposed bill passing in spring or something like that
