No, but... peer essay editing and answering questions (peer advising) IS volunteer work! I have been on here for a couple months, given 97 upvotes from all my postings, answers, and comments. I am really enjoying using this as a way to volunteer my knowledge and advice!

How would you suggest putting this on your application? I've reviewed quite a few essays, answered over a hundred questions, and have a hundred and ninety-something upvotes, but it doesn't feel very concrete. Like, I answer questions and review essays on here to relax after a long day, so I'm not sure how I'd list that as an extracurricular lol. Sorry for the disorganized rambling, it's something I've been wondering about for a while.

Keep track of how much time you approximately spend on it (estimate past time and log future volunteering hours in a doc). I would put it on the application as peer advising and peer essay editing or essay tutoring. As a homeschooler, I have few volunteer opportunities, so I am definitely counting this! If you have more specific questions, lmk!
