Is it possible to raise my GPA?
Answered

For context, I am entering my second semester of junior year in high school. I currently have a 2.8 (w) gpa, and was wondering if it is possible to raise my gpa to at least a 3.0? I have one honors class in my schedule as of now (cambridge). If I finish this semester with All A’s or A’s with possibly 2 B’s, am i able to acquire this? Additionally, would taking ap’s my senior year of high school help my gpa as well? Would it be too late?

Like @JhnJy said, AP and honors normally raise GPAs. DE classes also help! I am currently taking 2 myself an planning to take 10 more (I am taking the gen ed classes required for my bachelor's)!

I don't know how your school's GPA is calculated, but taking AP classes your senior year would significantly boost your wGPA (If you get all A's, that is) It's not too late to get a 3.0 wGPA. Plus that honors class should help. Just continue getting good grades, and you should be fine. All A's this semester would also help a lot. Good luck!
