AP CSP and AP CSAAnswered
Hi! Can I self study AP csp and ap csa? My school does offer both these classes but they replace my math class. However, I don’t think I want to replace my math class for comp sci. Also the classes are held online, and I don’t know if the teacher is really good. I’ve heard mixed opinions. So I was wondering if there was a way I could self study and if there is pls let me know if there are any resources I could use. Thank you!

Everything is possible; it's just a matter of time and motivation. If you're willing to hire your tutor, there are plenty of them online. If you prefer free resources, there's YouTube and books. But don't even think about dropping math if you have a good teacher
for csp you could easily self study the class is super easy, ap csa might be harder but you could do it
The big distinction is that CSP is not a coding based class, while CSA is. CSP is a notoriously easy AP that requires minimal effort relative to other AP's, so I believe that you could most likely self study for CSP. CSA is coding based, so if you don't have any background experience with different programming languages then I'd recommend taking that at your school if it's offered. Hope this helps!
