Dumb Question

This might be a dumb question but say CU Boulder has the 60th best business program overall, Does that mean there marketing program is top-tier as well? Because when I search for marketing rankings, it does not rank in the top 100 or even top 150

Generally speaking, the quality of most majors within a specific program are indicative of the program itself. (Most to all majors at IU's Kelley Business School are probably just as highly regarded as the program itself) That being said, there are certain majors within programs that differ in rank and public perception. Staying with Kelley, its marketing major is ranked #3, while its finance major is ranked #10, though they're part of the same program. Hope this helps!

I looked it up and the marketing program is part of the business "school," which is overall highly regarded. So I would say that the marketing program is probably well thought of also.

BTW not a dumb question...I think it is more dumb that I did not immediately know marketing is related to business, LOL slaps forehead. That's what I get for being too busy, haha :)
