I recently applied to one of my safety schools and was accepted. However, I accidentally clicked the "confirm acceptance" button while I was still unsure about attending since I haven't heard back from another school yet. Then I clicked "unconfirmed" and realized that I needed help. I contacted the admissions office, but they were unavailable. Is my application still in consideration? Since this is just my second choice I'm not too worried but SHOULD I BE FREAKING OUT YET??

I don't think you should freak out. Try calling the admissions office tomorrow and keep trying tomorrow until you get someone. Stay calm and ask if the confirmation went through. If it did, explain that you have not made your final decision yet. Try not to rub it in their face that you probably won't go through- simply express that you have not made the decision yet.

Admissions offices deal with this kind of thing all the time. They know waiting on decisions can be stressful. The best thing to do now is try and reach them again during business hours. Explain what happened - you accidentally confirmed then unconfirmed - and that you're still waiting on another school.
