Retaking the SAT as a transfer
Answered

I’m hoping to transfer to Columbia University following my freshman year of university and I’m wondering if I should consider retaking the SAT to increase my chances of admission? I got a 1320 on my SAT and my high school GPA was 3.8 UW. Since I would be applying to transfer during my second semester of college, there will be a heavier focus on my high school grades, so I want to know if this course of action is advisable. Thanks!

Columbia University has a very high SAT score average (1450-1560). If they end up looking heavily at your high school academics, you will want a much higher SAT score.
