NYU Waitlist

Hi there,

I recently got waitlisted from NYU and had two questions. First, what am I supposed to write under "In the space below, you may elaborate on your interest in any of the particular schools, colleges, programs, or campuses noted above." What should I elaborate on? The last box says, "Please use the space below to inform the admissions committee of any updates since the time of your application (ex. honors, awards, new leadership positions, etc.). Please do not send any additional information to the admissions office separately, with the exception of your Final Report and final transcript." Under this, should this be like a standard Letter of Continued Interest where I state any honors/achievements as well as why I am completely sure NYU is the school for me (list why I like the campus, programs, etc.)? Or should I aim to be more vague?
