Hi!
I have a question about SAT scores for BS/MD programs and for other colleges. If I have a 1500 SAT superscored, would that be enough to be considered for programs like Brown PLME? Would extracurriculars make up for the SAT score? And for colleges that accept superscores - do they check to see each individual score when considering students for admission? Or do they only judge off the superscore?
Thank you!
Normally this depends, for a lot of schools an SAT score is optional, however this is so SAT scoring which while accurate does not fully envelope your academic abilities, but is still optional because it can help you. None the less, a score of 1500 on the SAT is really good, and from this I have not the ability to say this will get you in, but it is certainly not going to be your downfall. However one thing to consider is that the SAT score while good, will not matter if, for example, your grades or extracurricular are not as exceptional. To sum up, this score is good enough, however rather than focussing on this, focus more on other academic goals.

Hi! Thank you for your response - would this score still not hurt my chances for Brown PLME? or other BS/MD Programs? I think in Brown 1500 is on the lower side of PLME matriculant scores - with the average for PLME being 1510. I will definitely keep working to maintain my GPA and stay involved in extracurriculars.
