Good ECs for international relations?Answered
I'm a high school sophomore looking to eventually major in International Relations/Studies. My grades and rigor are pretty okay but I don't have many ECs and I'm not sure which ones would be best for the program I want. I do have a few, but not many are related to my major. My current ECs are:
- Exhibition Weightlifting
- Film Club (Treasurer)
- French Honor Society
I'm also in a law magnet program and will do foreign exchange this summer. Are there any other ones that would help my chances?

One EC I recommend for international relations is model united nations. By going to model united nations conferences you are often assigned a country to research and represent at conferences. It allows you to research other countries and learn about other countries in general at conferences. It also teaches good public speaking skills as you often have to make speeches when representing an assigned country.

Heavily agreed. Model UN is a huge thing in int. relations, especially in Ivies. IK in places like Cornell they host HUGE things abt model UN so go for that ASAP.
