AP Score Cancel or Withhold?

Hi :D

I am a junior this year and will be applying to college soon. The rest of my application seems satisfactory but I am slightly worried about one of my upcoming AP exams, as my teacher did not cover most of the course material and left us to self-study a large portion of the class.

I was wondering what the difference between canceling and withholding an AP score is? Also, considering that I will be applying to college at the start of next (senior) year, does the June 15th deadline apply for me, or can I still cancel/withhold my score anytime?

Lastly, when should I send my AP scores to colleges? Should I write the schools down in MyAP under score recipients or should I wait until college apps?

Thank you!

Cancelling means that that score is permanently erased. I believe it'll basically show that you took the course, but nobody is gonna see the exam. Witholding just means u don't show ur score. To cancel, you have until like a week before the scores are delivered I think? Send em at college apps so you don't send a score like a 2 or smth (not that I'd think you would) but its important to make sure theyre good scores
