How will admission officers view my transcript?
Answered

I am a bit worried about my chances of getting into a good college/univeristy due to my transcript/GPA. My freshmen year of high school was great, I had a 4.0 GPA my second semester and 3.9/3.8 first semester. BUT, my sophmore year left a major dent on my GPA, I had a 3.0 GPA my first and second semester. However, I am currently in my Junior year and I had a 4.1 GPA my first semester, and I plan on finishing the year off with a MINIMUM of a 4.0 GPA.

I have a good reason to explain the reason behind my drop in GPA my Sophmore year and I plan on letting all colleges that I apply to know as well, but to keep it short it was due to a lot of mental health and family issues.

How will colleges view this? I am afraid that any chances of getting into a good college/university is now off the table for me because of my grades...
