Passion Project

Hi guys !

I'm a rising Junior and feel behind compared to my classmates since they have fantastic grades and internships. I've recently been thinking of a passion project to start during the summer, something that would help my interests in international relations/law and maybe economics but I don't know were to start. How do you make a passion project that would impress colleges?

Hello,

If you want to impress colleges I think you should look for something you like more than looking for something that sounds impressive because you are more likely to do better with things you enjoy.

Start with researching the subjects you mentioned look for what you like. Keep narrowing it down to specific topics and choose one. From there you could choose from a variety of activities like doing research, teach, help the community, write, etc..... relating it to the topic you chose.

Do not forget that your application can look better when you have connections inside your application. So my advice is do not do something that seems odd for you because it can look out of place in the application.

Best of luck!
