Admissions Advice

How would one become more competitive for Service Academy admission.

Just the title, right now I am going into 9th by fall and just asking the question very early, I am getting Eagle by January, am currently doing Cross Country and Wrestling, and my school district is trying to get JROTC into the program. How can I get more competitive?

You have sports, and I assume community service/leadership (scouts) down. I would focus on keeping your sports strong (you don't need to be a star, but you need to be a good athlete on paper). Academics are also very important, so I would take classes that challenge you, with a language. I would also join a couple clubs or organizations within your school that you care about, and dedicate yourself to them. Earn leadership positions and help them grow. You want them to see an excellent student, athlete, and leader. Good luck!
