Admissions Advice

languages..

Hey y'all, I'm a current freshman and I recently found out that a lot of good colleges (im specifically thinking about notre dame) want you to take 3-4 years of a language. I am currently taking Spanish and I took it for my entire time in elementary school but it just doesn't seem to stick. I didn't really have a choice in the language I took in high school so now I am stuck. If I continue to learn Spanish I will have to eventually go into the native speakers class (just because of the way the system works) and I know I won't be good enough.

So i guess my question is does it really matter if I take 3-4 years of a language or do y'all think it would be fine... if y'all have any advice please let me know!
