As a student myself, I would say that there's a few things I'd consider if I had to choose between some colleges...

- Rankings for my intended major (Colleges have separate rankings based on majors. For example, one school could be ranked #5 in biology or #10 in chemistry)

- Diversity

- What activities can I do outside of school if I go to this college? (Clubs, Sports, Greek Life, party culture if that's important to you)

- Reputation

- Learning opportunities (since I intend on majoring in STEM, I would consider whether the college in question has good lab equipment and if they have good resources)

- Cost/Financial Aid

- Housing

- Neighborhood (is that surrounding area safe to live in?)

Not a definitive list, and certainly not a list that suits everyone, but just some things I would consider. Good luck! :)

A lot of it depends on what you care about but a safe bet is to look at the

Majors they offer/size ( don’t go to a school if they don’t have the major you want and if you are undecided a school with more options would make it very likely the major you are choosing is there)

Cost

Campus( do you want something very suburban and lots of green spaces or do you want a bustling city)

Students (do you want a lot of diversity)

Extracurriculars (does the school have activities that you would enjoy)

Hopefully this helped give you some ideas. Best of luck!
