What is the furthest I’ll be able to bring my gpa up?

I currently have a 3.3 gpa because of my freshman year and I’m entering my junior year in two months. I plan on doing regular decision, which means I have three semesters left to bring it up. I just don’t want to get my hopes up

To truly answer this question, there needs to be a few follow-up questions...do you plan on taking any AP or Honors classes? And also do you believe you could get straight A's for the next three semesters? Do you/could you take any summer classes? How many classes do you take per year?

Also, want to jump on and add that many high schools grade/calculate GPA differently so it can be difficult to predict. My advice is to simply do your best to get the highest grades possible in advanced classes by developing good study habits AND getting help when you struggle with a class before your grade dips too low.

I do plan on taking advanced classes, but I was talking abt unweighted. Freshman year ruined my gpa and I’ve been making wayyy better grades than last year. If I continue with that, I was hoping I’d have a 3.7 uw gpa before applying to college. I take 7 classes every semester and idk abt summer classes. Thank you for the advice btw

Ok, taking that all into consideration I think you could get it up to a 3.6 unweighted, which, also consider that UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA AND RELATED SCHOOLS do not take GPA from freshman year into consideration.

Oh I didn’t know certain schools did that. But I thought I could get it up to a 3.7 the AI Bot helped me calculate that. and my school counselor literally won’t answer my emails or the ones sent from my parents and I’ve been trying to contact her abt the AP classes I was interested in
