AP Capstone Diploma
Answered

Has anybody done the AP Capstone Diploma. Was it hard? Worth it? I planning to do Seminar in 10th, and Research in 11th. I just wanted to know if it would be something that would help stand out even a bit, and if you would recommend it! Just to note, i'm not just doing it for the diploma and I am genuinely interested in it! :)

I'm in the process of finishing it. I would say it is not hard. However, taking Seminar, along with many other APs, it was proven to be a lot of work. The exam itself is not hard at all and you will get plenty of time to prepare for the AP. What I found difficult was to manage my classes. You will be assigned a lot of work, especially second semester. Research is a bit different but similar to that. As long as you can manage time, you will be fine. As per if it's worth it, I'm not sure myself. It does give a boost to the application, but I would say, it is not going to stand out from let's say an internship you've done. It shows your skills in research but your essays and scores are what really grab attention of the AOs.
