Admissions Advice

I am in 11th grade.
Answered

My last year's GPA is 3.6 on the 4.0 grading scale.

I have taken commerce stream. (In India students are supposed to pick a stream-: Science(engineering or medical), commerce or arts)

Commerce stream includes subjects: Accountancy, Business Studies, Mathematics and statistics, economics, English and French.

I have no particular participation in any extracurricular activities or have given competitive exams.

One notable accomplishment is that I got 4th national rank in a math and science Olympiad three years ago.

Also note there aren't any AP classes offered in my high school and taking such exams from an external institution is expensive.

Any advice will be helpful!!

If there are no AP classes offered at your high school, then include that in the "Additional Information" section of your application. You have an excellent starting point in extracurriculars with the math/science Olympiad, and if you enjoy that topic, building upon that by undertaking another math/science extracurricular (i.e. starting a club, internship, olympiad again, etc.) would be an excellent way to build up your application. In addition, your GPA, while good, could use improvement if you want to get into an Ivy or top university.
