Hello! Current junior here. I attend a school with the option for students to participate in the Cambridge AICE Diploma program. I have a few AICE exam results I would like to add to my profile, but Collegevine doesn't appear to have an option for AICE scores to be reported on our profiles besides AP/IB and DE scores. I would like to include my scores to see more accurate chancing predictions on for my list of schools. Does anyone know how to add them accurately? Thank you!
Hi! Thanks for the response. A lot of schools actually do accept the AICE diploma, including many state schools and all the Ivy Leagues, but it can be different at some schools, you just gotta do your research to see which schools you're looking at do accept them for credit. Even if they don't, colleges will recognize the diploma as advanced rigor classes. :) I currently have weighted them as AP/IB classes and I think I'll add in the diploma to my achievements section of my profile.
Hi, after seeing your post, I did a little digging, and I think it's reasonable to consider individual AICE classes as higher than honors. (As CV doesn't have AICE as a course option) I think you can use IB-SL as a stand in on the profile. My understanding is that most institutions would rank difficulty as AICE-IB SL-AP-IB HL, with AICE becoming more recognized. Looks from this source ivyscholars.com/what-are-the-a-levels/ that completed 2 year AICE courses are A Level equivalent
Yes, I have considered doing that. :) Thanks for the help and your research! Appreciate it! I will see if I can list the AICE classes as SL IB courses and the A level classes as the advanced levels. Thank you!!! <3

I noticed the same, my child has a couple AICE classes too. Many colleges won't accept them for college credit, I think weighting it as an Honors class is probably fair. (Unless CollegeVine has a response...)
