what to do with all the spam :(

Hi guys,

In the past few hours, the Admissions Advice community has become SWAMPED with spam/advertisements. It's really annoying, and I am hoping Collegevine will take action soon. In the meantime, the best thing you can do is to report the spam posts by clicking "report." This alerts Collegevine. Rule 9 of the community says: "Don’t post advertisements. These are unsolicited promotions of yourself, your business, or products/services.

To help the moderators, please flag posts that break any of the guidelines. Users who break the guidelines 3 times will be banned from using CollegeVine communities."

So if you get the chance, report spammers! Right now there are way too many, but if enough people report, the advertisers will be taken care of by CV. It's harder to find real posts from real peers, but for now, we'll have to work around the spam.

Thanks everyone!
