What are my honest chances of getting into Yale or UPenn? (or any other ivy for that matter)
Answered

Hello, I am a rising senior and for the longest time my top two dream schools have been Yale and UPenn. I honestly just want the bare truth on what my chances are looking like. I have a 4.6 Unweighted GPA and I got a 1410 on my SAT. By my Senior year I would've taken a total of 12 APs and out of those I have 4 confirmed fives. I am applying as a biochemistry major and have volunteered at my local hospital, served as a teachers assistant to my middle school science teacher, have played volleyball for 9 years, have maintained 2 part time jobs (one for 2 years and the other for 5), along with some other small volunteering activities. As far as awards I have won a silver key in the scholastic art competition and I am a published author in a journal publication. I plan on applying for more awards and over the summer Im attending a humanitarian program for biochem in Peru (my families home country). From just this alone do I have a solid chance of getting into Yale or UPenn if I apply next year? Thanks!!!

I'm just a junior but it's looking really good for you except the SAT and idk what your GPA scale is like. Nobody is ever a shoe in for the ivy league (except for certain people...you know who I'm talking about). I want to go to UPenn too I hope to see you there.
