Transferring from a CSU to a UC

Hi, I am currently an engineering student at SJSU looking to transfer on to UC Berkeley for applied math. I meet all the major pre-reqs, and I want to know if even transferring from a CSU to a UC allowed, since most of the UC transfers come from community college.
