Sending AP scores to collegs
Answered

If I don't get a score that gets me credit at a college, should I bother sending the score? I don't want my scores to negatively affect my application. For example, I got a 4 on AP Chemistry, but MIT doesn't give credit for any score.

Hi! Honestly, I think it can go both ways. What I've heard is that if you don't send your scores in colleges typically assume the worst and that you've scored a 1 or a 2. I don't think sending in a 4 will help but it also won't hurt so I personally think you should send it in. Also congrats on getting a 4 on AP Chemistry, that's really impressive!
