Hi guys. I'm a senior in high school now. I'm applying to 10 schools, four of which include top 20s. I'm definitely an overachiever, and I think right now that is my greatest weakness.
I'm lucky when I get 6 hours of sleep a night for school. I'm just always so tired. I try to write my supplemental essays, but my mind blanks entirely on me.
My senior year schedule includes 4 AP classes, including AP chem, and three other demanding electives. I also work a job, have many clubs, and I work for an internship of mine. I'm just scared that I will burn out before September comes around!! What should I do??
I'm in the same boat!! I'm a senior in five AP's and three demanding electives, also working a job and in many clubs. I think what's helping me right now is starting things early. What that means for me is doing small steps every day to contribute to my final goal - things like writing one supplemental essay or researching one college's programs for the "Why Us" question will ultimately help to complete my application, but are simple things that I often have time to do. Just a suggestion, though, different things work for everyone.
