Texas A&M is definitely a good school! If you're in-state, you've got a much better chance than most places will say. For academics, the average SAT for A&M is around 1150-1390, so being in that range will be A-OK! While a GPA lower than a 3.68 may lower your chances a bit, your extracurriculars absolutely make up for it! If you're getting recommendations, absolutely go for it. If you get around a 3.68 GPA and 1270 SAT, you'll have around a 60% chance of admission not counting your extracurriculars and SAT, so absolutely apply! Just make sure to have some backups if things go wrong, like Texas State or University of Houston if you're in-state. Good luck! :D
