Transferring to a different major

I’m currently studying criminal justice at a local community college but I’m hoping to switch my major into Pre-hospital med/paramedic. Would that be too much of a jump or have an effect on transferring into another school? I’ve taken some of the pre-reqs and obviously have my EMT but I’m concerned that won’t be enough. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!
