What to submit to Vassar 'Your Space'

I have a philosophy essay I wrote this summer while attending classes at NYU that I'm extremely proud of. I think it would fit in the 'your space' section, and as a prospective philosophy student I think it would be a good show of what I'm capable of, as other areas in my application are lacking. Is academic work okay for 'your space'? Or should I just not include it?
