How can I get extremely impactful Pre-med or Biology opportunities as a Junior?

Hello, I am looking for impactful pre-med opportunities that I can work on for a few months to a year during 11th grade. What are some good research projects, awards, or programs I can apply for that are good for college apps?

Look into programs at local colleges; the one near me has a research assistant program for select high school students. Also, internships! Reach out to doctors' offices, see if they would allow you to intern there. I have a friend who volunteers at a local hospital. She takes patients to their rooms, assists nurses, helps in post-op, and does lots of other things! HOSA is a great school club, if you're not already in that, and competing in HOSA is good too. Look into summer programs as well; summer after junior year is the most important time to get in those last few ECs, so you're going to want to find a summer program, scholarship opportunity, or be getting your last few volunteer hours then.
