My ACT is a 35 in English, a 33 in Reading, a 24 in Science, and a 22 in Math. My unweighted GPA is a 4.0 and my weighted is a 4.6 (my school is small and has limited AP/DE options). I am the secretary of my school's NHS and choir. I volunteer at least once a week, and I work extremely often. I've held multiple jobs at once for many months to support my family. I am planning to apply ED to Wellesley, and I want to major in history and be an archivist. Do I have any chance at getting in, or should I just apply to other places?
Wellesley’s average ACT is 33–35, so a 29 is below average, but your 4.0 GPA, strong extracurriculars, leadership, and compelling circumstances help your case. Early Decision applicants are admitted at about 30% versus 14% overall, making ED your best shot. Apply ED to Wellesley, but also submit applications elsewhere; you have a reasonable chance, but it’s still highly competitive! Good luck!
This school would be a target for you. You should apply to this school, as you have a good chance of getting in.

Thank you! I definitely am going to apply ED. Hoping for the best!
