University or Community College??

I am a senior in high school and i just started school in September but junior year I had a 1.0 GPA but I am now getting good grades (all A's) ever since school started and I talked to my guidance counselor and she said that if I get good grades for the rest of the year, my GPA will go up to 2.0,

she also recommend me community college but I found out from College Vine that I may have a chance to go to University or College. I want to major in either Radiology or Microbiology (still haven't decided yet). should I go to university or community college

You should attend a community college first and then transfer to a four-year college. It can be much easier for you to get into a college that way. If you truly want to attend a university or college, consider applying to schools with low selectivity.

Start at a community college and transfer to a University after if you want to! That gives you time to build up a good college GPA, and transferring in has a lot higher chance of you getting in than first-year admissions. (Plus it's much more affordable!)
