Should I study abroad?

A little background about me, I have learned Chinese as a second language since kindergarten (currently a junior in high school), and I got a 4 on the AP test and have my seal of biliteracy. In the summer of 2025 I got a scholarship to go to China for free and I loved it. I was thinking about studying abroad at one of their universities for a year. I have perfect grades so I know how to study and speak the language. Should I try to apply?

Well, it depends. Do you think you're ready? If you don't think you can handle it, then maybe relax and prepare for it for a little longer. However, you sound confident to me, so go for it! There are so many once in a lifetime opportunities when studying abroad, and nothing compares to learning in a setting where you actually want to. If I were you, I would go for it, but it's up to you and your current situation(financial, emotional, physical, etc.). It's always a good idea to consider all factors before doing things like this. But if you decide to go, have fun!!
