Penn State Admissions Advice

Hey everyone, I’m trying to figure out whether I should apply EA or rolling to Penn State Main Campus and what my real chances are. Here’s my info:

GPA: 2.844 unweighted, 2.978 weighted, improving with dual enrollment and retakes

SAT: 1250

Class of 2026, Maryland resident

Key courses: AP Computer Science Principles (A), dual enrollment courses, other honors classes

Extracurriculars:

Full Stack Developer, MTSE: Medical Technology & Software Engineering Course

NFTE Youth Leadership Competition Semi-Finalist, NFTE

Founder & Owner, VisionByMyk (photography business)

BigFuture Ambassador, College Board

UPchieve Tutor, UPchieve

Track and Field, CMIT Varsity Track & Field

I’m looking for honest, realistic feedback on whether EA or rolling is better for me and what my chances look like.
