Only applying to UC schools only and tips

I am currently a junior with a unweighted 2.9 GPA and a weighted 3 GPA and I did pretty bad during my sophomore year however I would say that I have improved during my junior year, I calculated my gpa using the UC calculator and it says I will have a 3.2 GPA after this semester is finished and if I keep it up, I will have around a 3.4 or a 3.5 GPA with some extracurriculars and so I am wondering if there's any tips for me to get into the more better UC schools such as UC Davis, Uc Irvine, UC SB, or UC SD as I have seen my chances of getting into those schools are quite low and if I should choose a less impactful major to get accepted into those schools or if I should take community college and then transfer instead however I don't mind going to UC Riverside or UC Santa Cruz but I would also prefer going to the schools I mentioned before.
