Is Sewanee Young Writers' Conference worth it?

So this is kind of a weird question I got into Sewanee Young Writers' Conference: Winterim. I’m very happy about that considering I didn’t think I’d get in but I’m now seeing the acceptance rate might be in the 40% (I thought it was in the 20-15% which would make it more prestigious) and I don’t know if it’s as great as other writing programs. It’s 500 dollars which is kinda expensive when I usually apply for free programs. I think I want to be a lawyer but I genuinely like writing and I just don’t know if I should do it. I’d appreciate anyone telling me how their winter term went, if they liked it, how good it is for college(I’m a junior so I REALLY need to worry about this lol), if they think its’d worth it, just anything really. Thanks so much for your help
