Answered

Good afternoon! I was wondering if I placed at top something percent in a very prestigious competition, may I place it in my awards and honors section?

Thank you in advance!

Hello,

It depends on what the awards is but it sounds like you should. If its prestigious and you placed at the top, its definitely worth putting out there for colleges to see. It also helps a lot if the award is relevant to what you are going to study. But even if it isn't relevant, I say go for it! It could help strengthen your college profile.
