What is the difference between ED1 and ED2, and how do I decide which school I should ED to?

The only difference between the two is the deadlines other than that they are the same. Now which school you should ED too is a bit complicated. If you want to ED you have to be 100% sure you want and are willing to go and pay the price of that school (since if you get accepted you have to go unless there has been a change in your financial situation). I say don't apply ED anywhere if you are not 100% committed, EA and RD work just as well and you get to have other options!
