Do I stand a chance of acceptance at SAIC?
Hi all - I received great feedback from SAIC at NPD and was told that my portfolio met their admissions requirements. With this encouragement, I applied EA but received a letter stating they need my midyear transcript to fully review my application. My first semester grades were good - the best I've done in my whole High School career but my GPA is still only about 2.7. I'm worried I'll be denied.

If they need your midyear transcript and your 1st-semester grades are that good, You needn't worry, even with a 2.7. The worst they can say is no. You won't know until you apply, you know.
