Political Science Service?
Answered

Aloha from Hawai'i! I've been thinking a lot about community service opportunities, and I was curious about how I could connect it to my intended major, Political Science. Do y'all have any good ideas?

Hey. I'm a Polisci major right now, and I did a few things that are related.

(1) Student Government (self explanatory)

(2) Voter registration drive

(3) Superintendent's Student Senate

You can also do stuff with your local school board or local legislatures. Reach out to city council asking for opportunities too.

Hi! See if your community has poll worker volunteer opportunities for high schoolers! You basically get to work the polls during an election.
