Major choice

Hello,

I am a prospective student very interested in your programs, and I would appreciate your guidance as I plan my academic path.

My initial interest has been in computer animation, particularly 3D modeling and visual storytelling. At the same time, I also have strong interests in computer science, especially as it relates to animation, simulation, and emerging technologies such as AI.

Recently, I have also been exploring a potential pre-med pathway, ideally combined with visualization skills (such as medical illustration, 3D modeling, or animation), so that I can integrate both science and art in my future career.

Given these interests, I would love to better understand:

• If students can combine pre-med requirements with art/animation studies

• Whether schools offers or supports interdisciplinary paths such as:

• Medical visualization

• Animation + programming integration

Additionally, I would appreciate any advice on how students typically structure their coursework if they are interested in combining these fields.

I am currently a college freshman who is majoring in cybersecurity and graphic design/art, and I definitely understand the basis for this question. I personally use a website (Bloop Animation) to learn animation and graphic design.
