Choosing My Freshman Platform: UT Plan II or GWU IRG for Top‑Tier Transfer?
I need guidance choosing between two options:
• UT Austin Plan II Honors + IRG major (awaiting scholarship results)
• George Washington University IRG major with a $140K scholarship
Which option gives me a stronger chance to transfer next year to Columbia, Brown, Cornell, or other top‑tier universities?
For context: I’m from Texas, have a 36 ACT, 4.0 UW GPA, and was rejected by most Tier‑1 schools this cycle (Brown ED deferred → rejected; Cornell waitlist). I’d appreciate your advice.
