Rescinded transfer acceptance

Hello, I applied to four universities to transfer to and I would start Fall 2026 (as a sophomore).

My reasons for transfer was mainly due to financial issues, personal, and health issues. I thought transferring and getting accepted as a transfer student would ease some of these problems but it didn’t. In addition to that, I already paid the $350 deposit for admission.

My spring semester grades are not good and it is a significant drop. I already reached out to my new counselor at the university and she said she will try to present my case if my offer is rescinded.

If it is rescinded should I call the admissions office and further try to explain my case? I even emailed my counselor again to see if I could take summer courses or start the school year on academic probation.

Any advice would be appreciated!
