Well, what I've learned is to shoot your shot even though you may think you won't get in. Just keep your grades up, don't get in trouble, and do extracurriculars. Don't get your hopes up when applying to colleges, BUT DO have a backup college or colleges so that way you always have another option to fall back on!!!
