There are are a few suggestions in this article that may help! https://blog.collegevine.com/extracurriculars-writing/

You could also start a literary blog, podcast, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc. This would give you full freedom over what you do, and you could also learn some useful skills like SEO (blogs) and social media growth strategies.

Another option is to start a literary magazine where you curate reader and workshop submissions. It could be around a certain theme (poetry, memoir, essays), or a general literary magazine.

You could also try to get your writing recognized in contests or publications. Some newspapers will have "first person" columns that allow you to submit essays.

Hope this helps, and best of luck!

you can start a blog about anything you like (books, sports, politics...), participate in an essay contest, or, if you like to write stories, you can send them to online newspapers

Here are some ideas:

-Journalism Club

-Book Club

-Debate Club

-A club that studies popular classical literature and authors like Shakespeare.

-Poetry Club

-Volunteer or intern at your local printing press

-Teaching literature to children

There are many other ideas, but I think these would be very helpful. Hope this helps.
