Diksha Thakkar is a 4th-year student from Fairport, New York. She is pursuing a double major in Biology and Biomedical sciences. She is actively involved with RIT student government and is the College of Health Sciences and Technology senator, she is also involved with the American Cancer Society which hosts Relay For Life, and is the Team Recruitment and Development chair. She is also heavily involved with research and is currently working on cell and microbiology research. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading, and baking.
