Shravya is a recent graduate of Rice University on the pre-med track, and will be discussing her experience doing research both in high school and in college. Stop in to ask a few questions or stick around for the whole hour to learn all about research in high school!

Bio
Shravya is a Seattle native who attended Rice University and studied Health Sciences and Global Health Technologies. She is currently a third-year medical student at UT Southwestern in Dallas, Texas. During her time at Rice, she mentored dozens of high school students through the college application process, along with editing essays and tutoring students for the ACT/SAT. She absolutely loves building relationships with students and getting to know their story more personally to craft their narratives for college applications! Some fun facts about Shravya include that she interned at a medical technology startup, conducted research in Brazil, and gave a TEDx talk. In her free time, she enjoys playing basketball, doing hot yoga, skiing, and eating raw kale.
