About this livestream

Description

Each year, millions of students send in their college applications to colleges and universities. The preparation for these often consists of weeks, if not months, of preparation - not to mention all of the groundwork laid out over years of high school. However, the fate of these digital applications when they reach the admissions office remains largely a mystery. But it doesn't have to be that way—join Christopher Kilner for a walkthrough of the admissions process, from how admissions officers will read and evaluate your application to which admissions components you should focus on and why.

Don't miss this chance to get the inside scoop on the college admissions process. Our chat will also be open so that you can ask Christopher all of your admissions-related questions and get answers live!

Bio
Christopher is one of the most accomplished college students of the past decade, winning multiple international accolades: Mitchell Scholar, Goldwater Scholar, Rhodes Scholar Finalist, and Marshall Scholar Finalist. He has worked with over 80 students over the past 5 years as an advisor. Over just the past 3 years, Christopher's clients have earned over $1.5 Million in scholarships to schools such as Carnegie Mellon, Princeton, Duke, Fordham, and University of Scranton.

While Christopher is honored to have received his many titles and accolades, the college experience was so much more and this is why he wants to help all students achieve their potential at their dream school! As a triple major who went to undergrad at a smaller school on a scholarship, then lived in Ireland while attending Trinity College, and now pursues a PhD at Duke University, Christopher has experience at schools ranging from the small to the big, the close-knit to the prestigious. As an international fellow, Christopher has vast experience in interview preparation and essay writing; as an advisor and application reader to these competitive fellowships, he has a keen eye on how to find the narrative in an applicants story!
