Bio

I graduated from Harvard University summa cum laude and then completed my master’s degree at the University of Michigan and the postgraduate diploma program at the University for Music and Performing Arts, Vienna. I have helped dozens of students gain acceptance to their top-choice schools including Harvard, MIT, Columbia, UC Berkeley, Northwestern, Johns Hopkins, the University of Michigan, and Georgia Tech. I have also advised and mentored thousands more through my frequent livestreams. In addition to my work in college consulting, I am a professional conductor and a multi-instrumentalist. I currently serve as Music Director of The Apollo Ensemble of Boston, and I work as an assistant conductor with the New York Philharmonic, the Minnesota Orchestra, and the Albany Symphony. I have led symphonic concerts and operatic productions throughout the United States and in Europe.
