Education
University of PennsylvaniaBio
I went to the University of Pennsylvania (C’ 21) where I double majored in Linguistics & Cognitive Science and graduated magna cum laude. I just finished my Masters in the Evolution of Language and Cognition at the University of Edinburgh, where I graduated with the highest honors. Currently, I work at Princeton University as a research specialist in a cognitive neuroscience lab. I've been working professionally in college advising for four years. I emphasize a holistic approach to advising. I'm here to guide my students through every step of the process, from creating the perfect school list and admissions narrative, through submission and finally, interview prep. I have extensive experience teaching both the SAT and ACT allowing for the seamless pairing of tutoring and admissions guidance. Finally, as someone who studies and writes about language for a living, I am a precise and effective editor. There is nothing more satisfying than helping students manifest the best possible version of their writing, and themselves, for their applications!Specialties

Work Experience: Throughout my advising career, I’ve helped tons of students craft their perfect admissions narrative, nail their interviews, maximize their standardized test scores and ultimately, gain acceptance to their dream schools! During undergrad, I worked as an RA in two research labs, culminating in published work, in addition to serving as a near-peer public speaking coach. I am currently completing my MSc in Evolution of Language and Cognition at the University of Edinburgh.
My Admissions Story: As a low-income student, I had no idea how to approach college admissions. I remember looking at the sticker prices for the schools I was interested in and worrying that college might not actually be for me. Fortunately, I was able to find my way, navigating the complex process of admissions and aid. I’m so excited to be in a position to help other students who feel as I once did.
