24:44@anonymous:Since I can't guarantee the recommendation is strong instead of just good, should I include the option of "it's ok not to write a recommendation letter for" (not the exact wordings) so that the teachers won't feel obligated to write but ends up writing something general or common?
25:45@niti_daga:Can I get one letter from my science teacher & another from my internship manager

41:09@twohid:I am a dual credit student, would a professor's LoR be allowed even though they are not my high school teacher? If yes, any tips on building a relationship w/ college professors?

51:48@anonymous:i wanted to ask my french 1&2 teacher from 9th and 10th grade. I excelled in her classes and she knows I enjoy writing. But at the same time, is asking a foreign language teacher from a beginning french class not impressive for prestigious colleges?
52:54@niti_daga:How many college recommendations can you ask from the teacher?
53:23@niti_daga:If you are applying to 15 schools can a teacher give you 15 Recomnendations or is it asking too much?
53:51@twohid:Wait, are you saying we are allowed to write our own LoR? Or are you saying pretending to be someone else and writing our own?
54:33@anonymous:Many colleges require a LOR from the HS counselor. However I attend a public school and the counselor takes care of 150-200 students. I don’t go to her very often as well. My first question is if I can ignore the “rule” of forgoing a LOR from the GS counselor and get 2-3 LOR from some others who really know me well?
57:21@anonymous:I am thinking about asking my senior English teacher next year who taught me freshman year as well. Even though he remembers me, I am not that close with him. What are some tips to get close with them as a junior right now, and as a senior next school year?
59:00@anonymous:Is it possible to see if the teacher has already replied/submitted the letter via my common app account? Or I have to ask the teacher to know if the letter is done?
59:23@anonymous:I am applying for top undergraduate business programs. My business teacher is a former MBA and has written me one of the best recommendations I have ever seen, "he is my best student ever". My math teacher I have had for the past 3 years, in Algebra 2 where she loved me and I was her best student, and AP Calc AB where I received a C and now in BC where I received a B. Should I ask her for a recommendation or my AP Gov teacher from this year who would write me a very good recommendation?
